WHERE ARE WE?
Dance For All is based in Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland, United Kingdom. Edinburgh, Inspiring Capital, is home to the Scottish Parliament, numerous universities, colleges, museums, art galleries and theatres. Edinburgh has approximately 471,000 people with over one million visitors a year.
In the 18th Century, Edinburgh was one of the European centres of the Age of Enlightenment, earning it the nickname Athens of the North.
Today Edinburgh is famous for many things in particular
our International Festivals which run throughout the Summer every year, notably the the Edinburgh International Festival which started in 1947. Closely followed by the Fringe which began with just eight unofficial independent acts uninvited to the Edinburgh International Festival and is now the biggest arts festival in the whole world! There are now officially twelve Festivals in Edinburgh, including the International Book Festival, the Mela and International Film Festival. You can find out more about our festivals here.
Dance For All is situated in Stockbridge, in the heart of the New Town of Edinburgh - which is an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
