Ballroom Dancing For Beginners

Ballroom Dancing for Beginners

Have you ever wanted to learn Ballroom dancing but don’t have a partner to tag along to the classes? Take this opportunity and join us Wednesday nights beginning 19th April for an hour of fun, fitness, and finesse.

Ballroom dancing is a fantastic choice for those wishing to increase their fitness level, while bringing grace and sophistication into their lives. Our 6-week ballroom dancing introductory course is suitable for anyone with little or no experience–and you don’t need a partner to join in!

Ballroom for Beginners
19th April – 24th May 2017
Wednesdays 18:30 – 19:30
£36 per person (course) / £7 per person per class (PAYG)

What to expect

In this course you’ll learn how to Waltz and jive in a fun and friendly atmosphere, starting with the basics and building on the dances each week so that by the end of the course you’ll have steps and routines that you can dance practically anywhere.

What To Wear

Participants can wear a hard-soled shoe that won’t stick too much to the floor when they try to turn.  The ladies can wear heels if they want, but I’d probably recommend small (2” or less) ones.  Basically, trainers and stilettos aren’t ideal.
