Spanish Dance Classes for kids and teens

Spanish Dance Classes

Thinking of a great way for your teener to exercise? Dance For All has various dance classes throughout the week and if you are wondering which class suits your child, visit the links below:

If your child is up for some challenging coordination skills, our popular Spanish dance class may be a great fit for him/her. Flamenco, for instance, requires concentration and an appreciation for the various complexities of Flamenco musical rhythms.

Our Spanish dance classes this term are held on Mondays and Tuesdays:

Flamenco Advanced – Monday
Grado 4  Spanish dance – Tuesday
Both for teenagers and up with a good number of years experience

Classes are taught by our Principal and Artistic Director, Tracy Hawkes. Tracy teaches on both our college course and weekly classes, including RAD Ballet and Spanish.

The director Tracy Hawkes and her teaching staff seem to genuinely want to impart their love of dance and engage young people in a healthy and creative activity.” – Lindsay Law, mum of two DFA pupils

Spanish Dance class in Edinburgh

Our children’s and teenager’s dance classes are held at our Edinburgh studios in Stockbridge. They run termly, Mondays through to Saturdays, with Easter performances and Summer Holiday Clubs.

All pupils are given the opportunity to perform on stage in our dance productions – senior pupils from grade four upwards can perform each year in our Spring Fling and our junior pupils can perform in our biannual Easter shows.

Dance has been proven to give participants physical, cognitive and emotional health benefits. The balanced workout improves posture, stamina, agility, and flexibility; while exercising the mind through focus, coordination and motor skills development. Dancing can relieve stress, enhance self-confidence and aid general well-being. Find out all about the Health Benefits of Dance.
