Dance In Time! 2014 Show

On the 25th, 26th & 27th June, in another EPIC showcase, our new student show ‘Dance in Time‘ was outstanding!

Captivating new choreography from twelve of our inspirational tutors was matched with incredible performances from our professional students – the audience was so dazzled, they gave us standing ovations every night!

Inspired by legendary and unique music from different decades, our talented students embarked upon a fascinating journey through 150 years, told through a diverse repertoire of dance styles.

Featuring solos from our graduating 3rd years, a full compliment of dance genres was represented, showing just how diversely skilled our students are: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Street, Commercial, Spanish and Contemporary Dance plus Musical Theatre.

Highlights included:

Our infamous Can Can
A fabulous Cabaret set
Numerous duets
Sensational finales from the 1920s and 30s
And an exceptional en-pointe Paquita Suite ballet, with nine solos!

Renowned dance critic, Kelly Apter, said of our 2013 end-of-college showcase: “The diversity was remarkable… I wasn’t bored for a single second!” and our students delivered a high calibre of diverse dance again.
