Lisa Aytoun Edinburgh Now

In the Daily Record’s new supplement, Jack Mathieson interviews 2010 graduate Lisa Aytoun about her glittering dance career so far including the Sunshine on Leith film and her experience of working in the Bolllywood industry. Lisa has been rehearsing for a new show called Clockwork which is now on its UK tour – the cast will be performing up to ten shows a week!

Lisa Aytoun performed at the 2009 MOBO Awards Ceremony during her final year at DFA. She has been dancing around the UK at various festivals and events for singer Scarlette Fever and her gymnastics team was selected to represent Scotland at the 2010 European championships in Sweden. In 2011 Lisa won a contract with Octopus Entertainment in Mumbai, India which included performing in Bollywood films, music videos, adverts & theatre shows. She returned back to her native Scotland coaching gymnastics and teaching until filming Sunshine on Leith then embarking on the UK tour of a new show called Clockwork. We are looking forward to what Lisa will do next!
