Looking for a full-time professional dance course that will give you the comprehensive training required for a long, varied and successful dance career?
With decades of experience, Dance For All is the longest-running vocational dance college in Scotland to offer a full-time course that incorporates:
an HND in Professional Dance Performance (in collaboration with Edinburgh College)
examinations with the world’s leading dance associations -the RAD, ISTD & SDS
comprehensive Dance Teacher Training;
and extensive Professional Dance Performance training that includes a vast array of dance genres…
…all into one dynamic, multi- award-winning and accredited full-time course.
How to apply
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
16yrs+ (applications from 15 year old candidates may be considered on an individual basis)
Highers and/or NAT 5 Qualifications
SCQF Level 6 in Dance and/or substantial previous experience in any of the dance styles taught by DFA
Based on a practical audition, we look for potential, commitment, energy and focus
You must be physically and academically able to take part fully in all practical and theoretical classes

Audition Day
AUDITION DAY at our studios will consist of:
Classes observation
jazz/commercial class
ballet class
individual interview
performance of a 2-minute solo audition in your chosen dance style.

Fees
2024 – 2025
Annual Private Tuition Fees payable by all students:
With SAAS HND Funding: £5,500 (inc. VAT) per year
Without SAAS HND Funding: £6,800 (inc. VAT) per year
Fees are paid to Dance For All as a single payment at the start of the course year or in monthly instalments by direct debit.
Additional costs may include:
Dance wear, dance shoes, DFA uniform
Costume hire – any show costumes provided by DFA
RAD ballet, ISTD modern, tap & national, ISTD Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) and SDS Spanish dance examination fees when applicable.
Funding
Scottish students may apply to the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS). Where students meet SAAS eligibility criteria, potential funding includes:
Payment of HND Tuition Fees (not a loan)
Student Loans
Bursaries (for low-income households)
